Overview

TAB LogoThe TAB Group is a leading document content management solutions company that provides a complete array of document management solutions, and specialty software and services that focus on clients’ records needs.  Many of TAB’s clients are multinational corporations that have sustainability goals that include their vendors and supply chains.  TAB’s owner was attracted to solar as he wanted to demonstrate his commitment to sustainability, reduce his energy costs, offset his electric usage and gain a measure of energy independence.

Solution

TAB has 3 buildings on their Andover, NJ property that provided more than ample roof real estate for a PV system designed to offset the company’s full electric usage.  ECS energy completed a 168.0 kW solar roof mount installation at TAB Group in Andover, NJ that attaches via S5 clamps to the standing seam metal roof. The generation from the rooftop array offsets 100% of the facility’s annual electrical usage.

Benefits

The rooftop solar array offsets 100% of the company’s annual electric usage.  An added bonus is TAB’s solar array demonstrates their environmental consciousness and long-term commitment to sustainability that dovetails with their clients’ sustainability objectives.
