Project Description

Bassett Furniture is a company that specializes in home furnishings, offering high-quality furniture, design services, and consultations. The company recently made the decision to switch to solar power for their business operations, which reflects their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and promoting a cleaner environment.

By transitioning to solar power, Bassett Furniture is taking steps to decrease their reliance on fossil fuels and promote more sustainable business practices. This decision was likely influenced by several factors, including rising energy costs and a growing awareness of the negative environmental impacts of traditional energy sources.

ECS energy installed a 75.84 kW roof mounted PV system on the Bassett Furniture store in Green Brook, NJ. ECS used Hyundai 395 Watt panels. The roof mounted array generates green energy that offsets 100% of the facility’s annual electrical usage. This project was completed in a timely manner and did not impact the company’s daily activities.

The solar array on the showroom’s roof offsets 100% of the stores annual electric usage & Bassett Furnitures solar array demonstrates their commitment to sustainability. In addition, the savings over 25 years should be $451,000 and the system will avoid 151,000 lbs of CO2 per year.
